City Manager

Vanessa Shrauner has been the City Manager since April of 2019. Vanessa came to the City of Jarrell with over 15 years of experience and success in municipal government. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M and a Master of Public Administration from Southwest Texas State with a focus in Urban Planning. She has served as a Management Analyst for the City of Round Rock, Assistant City Administrator for Sunset Valley, and 7 years as the Development Services Manager for the City of Odessa, Texas.
